Women of ABP Alumni is a network that connects graduates across the built environment disciplines, creating opportunities for meaningful professional engagement, collaboration and community – with a focus on women.
As a connector between the University and alumni community, we bring together recent graduates and experienced practitioners – through events and other initiatives – recognising and celebrating the achievements of those within our community and fostering relationships that support career development and lifelong connection.
Our alumni play a vital role – showcasing what is possible beyond University, supporting emerging professionals, helping younger alumni build their careers and connect with established leaders across industry.
How to get involved
There is no formal membership process. If we have your current email details, you will automatically receive invitations to all relevant ABP Alumni Network events.
We welcome new graduates to come along to our events, meet new people in our alumni network, and share your ideas to help us provide value to our community.

Meet our committee
Angie Darby OLY
Angie is an experienced property development professional with a strong track record of delivering iconic, mixed-use, brownfield urban regeneration developments in Melbourne. Angie’s experience extends across professional, academic and athletic pursuits, having represented Australia in Modern Pentathlon at the Beijing Olympics and having studied at Oxford University under a Rhodes Scholarship. Angie is passionate about fostering positive, productive connections across built environment disciplines, supporting a collaborative profession and enduring positive outcomes for future generations.
Emily Mignot
Emily is an urban planner and community engagement specialist with experience in local government and consulting, coming across to Tract as a planner in 2022. Driven by a deep interest in the processes and ideas that shape our cities, Emily holds qualifications in planning, music performance, engagement and facilitation, digital marketing and strategy. In her current role, Emily works to shape Tract’s national communications, marketing and strategy, while leading the design and delivery of community and stakeholder engagement on projects across Australia.
Elly Russell
Elly Russell is a Landscape Architect with a breadth of experience across sectors, bringing international experience leading complex multidisciplinary teams in Singapore, the UK and Monaco. As a passionate designer and explorer, Elly enjoys interdisciplinary collaboration in striving for both inspiring and regenerative landscapes. Elly has worked in Australia for 15 years, involved in the design and implementation of a number of internationally acclaimed landscapes, including large waterfront precincts, urban design frameworks, educational spaces, streetscape revitalisations and artful landscapes. She is passionate about design excellence, liveability and ecology for all project scales.
Georgina Harvey
Georgina is an experienced professional in the property industry, having worked across Australia, Asia, and the United States. With 7 years at Robert A.M. Stern Architects in New York, she returned to Melbourne to join the Riverlee Development team. Georgina focuses on supporting the group's design-led development efforts in delivering mixed use precincts. She's passionate about creating sustainable cities that meet the needs of both people and the environment. Georgina believes in designing for the future to ensure lasting impact and progress.
Susan Oliver AM FAICD
Susan was the first female to start and complete the Building Course at the university. She has served as non-executive director and chair of listed and unlisted companies, charitable and arts organisations in Australia for more than 30 Years. In 2013, Susan was co-founder and founding chairman of Scale Investors, now an established and successful female focused angel investing network. Susan co-founded The Big Issue in Australia, headed the Australian Commission for the Future and has contributed significantly to the innovation, IT and arts policy agendas in Australia. She was a British Council Scholar, was awarded a Centenary medal for service to business in 2001 and in 2019 was awarded an Order of Australia for services to women and business.
Scarlette Huang
Scarlette is a property development professional with a strong experience across residential and industrial sectors. With a background in quantity surveying and project management, Scarlette finds fulfilment in delivering projects that leave enduring legacies and positive impacts on both people and the environment. Outside of her current role, Scarlette is passionate about creating communities through collaboration and knowledge-sharing.
