About the event

Join us for a discussion on the current context of undergraduate education in architectural design in Australia, part of the Beyond Housing exhibition program. This is an opportunity to explore how undergraduate design studios can drive positive change in the sector, creating a healthier, more sustainable future for the architecture community.

Speakers Anna Jankovic (RMIT), Guillermo Fernandez-Abascal (University of Sydney), and Dr Djordje Stojanovic (University of Melbourne) will share their experiences of directing and teaching undergraduate design studios, diving into architecture undergraduate education in the context of societal challenges, contemporary relevance, architectural practice, research, and students’ transition toward graduate programs.

Associate Professor Amanda Achmadi, who coordinates the undergraduate pathway in architecture at the Faculty of Architecture Building and Planning, will moderate the conversation.
