Virtual MSDx Winter 2021
Virtual MSDx Winter 2021
Join us for the launch and celebration of Virtual MSDx Winter 2021 exhibition, kicking off on July 8 2021.
The exhibition will feature XR and virtual experiences, animations, renders, drawings, short films and more in a bespoke online gallery platform showcasing hundreds of pieces of student work from both our postgraduate and undergraduate studios.
MSDx explores current and future innovation in the built environment by giving the next generation of design professionals a platform to showcase their projects.
Climate change, sustainability, equitable housing, Reconciliation, resilience and pandemic-proof cities are strong themes resonating with the next generation of built environment professionals, who have taken on the challenge of using design to find solutions to some of the most pressing issues currently facing our cities and natural environment.
The exhibition will be live at msd.unimelb.edu.au/msdx from July 8, 6pm.
Come along to the virtual Opening Night from 6pm on July 8.
The Opening Night celebration will feature DJs, speeches, competitions, trivia, virtual galleries and more.
Guest DJ: Architecture In Helsinki
Modernist pop mavericks Architecture in Helsinki are one of Melbourne's most beloved pop exports. Whether spinning their favourite tunes or playing live they can always be relied on to bring the party. AIH DJ sets are a kaleidoscopic mix of technicolour dancefloor good times with an emphasis on fun and little regard for genre. You'll hear songs you love, tracks you'll fall in love with and some of the sounds that have influenced Architecture in Helsinki.
