A holiday season like no other awaits Australia. Falling COVID-19 case numbers across the country and easing restrictions have bouyed consumer confidence, leading to expectations of a record year for regional tourism. At the same time, international tourism still lies dormant and might not return to pre-COVID levels for years. And as the recent virus outbreak in South Australia and resulting state border closures and lockdown have shown, the situation remains highly unpredictable for tourism operators - from hotel chains to private Airbnb providers.

Join us as Adrian Williams (Vice President Operations, AccorHotels), David Simpson (Managing Director, Axsia) and Kate Harper (Asset Manager - Hotels, Salter Brothers) discuss in conversation with Professor Piyush Tiwari what the future of the hotel asset class looks like for investors and how one of this country's most important industries will operate in such a complex environment.

The panel conversation will be followed by an audience Q&A.
