In this special lecture Peter Märkli will reflect on his career and projects as an architect.
Peter Märkli was born in Zürich in 1953. He studied architecture at the ETH (Federal Institute of Technology) in Zürich. His associates from his student days include architect Rudolf Olgiati and sculptor Hans Josephsohn. He started his own studio, Studio Märkli in 1978. He was a Professor of Design at ETH Zürich from 2003 to 2015. He currently lives and works as an architect in Zürich.
