The key concept for this pavilion is to create transparency between the pavilion and the surrounding environment. It aims to improve the relationship between the design and its spatiality. The shell form enhances the stability of the pavilion and provides circulation flexibility. Polished aluminium is used for both structure and seating due to its properties of being lightweight and durable. Clear polycarbonate is placed inside the gaps to provide protection and natural light. The interior and exterior spaces throughout the design accommodate different events such as social gatherings and private meetings. The structure of the pavilion acts as a barrier, creating a strong transition and providing people within its boundary with protection and shade. Meanwhile, the designed landscape integrates built form with terrain and enhances accessibility and connectivity.
