SPATIAL INFINITY

Bathing is a process of healing and acquisition of tranquillity, beyond serving the purpose of personal hygiene.

This bathhouse, located in an urban setting with a young demographic, offers opportunities for enjoyment with respect to introspection.

Inspired by German philosophers Peter Sloterdijk and Martin Heidegger, architecture is seen to embody a world beyond what is visually perceived. This project is an exploration on spatial infinity, to expand architectural space to a spiritual level, the physical space behaves greater than it looks.

Through layering of space and the usage of materiality, the bathhouse aims to offer a multi-sensory experience, the space and the bather merge as a unity and complete each other.
