At the start of civilization, humans lived in caves in the nature. And as we start using tools, we began to build walls to separate ourselves from nature. There is a very clear boundary between private space inside the wall and public space outside the wall.

I want to make a house can weak the boundaries of private and public.

How to do this. First, I divided spaces in to four levels of privacy. Which is open, semi-open, semi- private, private.

Build four walls to differentiate the four levels of privacy space. The most intermediate space is private space, this space generally not shared with other, I put bedroom here. And the next layer is semi-private space, this space means all family members can use them together. And the next layer is semi-public space, means when you invite some friends or guests to your home the areas where they can use and move around. Then is public space, the space means it can be seen by passers-by.
