Subscription Based Offices

The office of the future will differ to the system as we know it today. The forced circumstances as a result of COVID-19, has opened the eyes of the world to the possibilities of working remotely and broadened our horizons of places to work.

Growing population, urban sprawl, and an increased attention to climate change have created a commercial world conscious of their carbon footprint and cast a light on employee commutes. Consequently, companies of the future will no longer have a singular head office to which employees must travel from their respective homes; 5 days a week 9am-5pm.

Instead, companies of the future will subscribe to multiple offices in response to where their employees reside. This network of offices will provide employees with the flexibility to both work from home and work from a remote co-working office to which their company has subscribed. This shift in office culture will reduce time, resources and energy on commuting and provide employees with an opportunity to work closer to home for most of the working week.
