The objective of Creekside Assemblage is to use modern-day techniques via Architecture to reinstate Aboriginal Practices and Values back into the site. In order to reconnect the Indigenous Australian cultural significance of the site back to the people, the three ideas of; multifunctional spaces, harnessing natural site features and execution of commercial venture were implemented via the architecture. Such concepts reconnect the architecture with what the site has been used for in the past by the Aboriginal people, such as economic exchange, for example. The choice of CLT internal wall partitions allows for flexibility in the design were multifunctionality over an extended period of time can flourish. Additionally, the massing configuration created a modular yet accommodating form that nestles within the site and amongst any existing natural conditions.
