Bubble Pavilion is a zero carbon aquatic centre located on the St Kilda triangle site. It aims to be a youth culture and lifestyle destination by creating a vibrant and playful circular space.Water and vegetation are two core elements of the design. The proposed planning includes an aquatic centre, squares and a roof plaza. The aquatic centre is a one storey building of curvilinear foot print and surrounded by greenery. The squares offer multidirectional social seatings and shallow water areas. It will be the community space in the future. The roof plaza is connecting the Upper Esplanade and Jacka Boulevard. It will hold public events and Sunday markets.

In terms of energy saving, a roof area of over 3,600 m2 will be covered by solar panels and the rainwater collected from the garden will be filtered to irrigate the vegetation and flush toilets.
