Watercolour Techniques

Watercolour is an extremely suitable medium to achieve instant and immediate representations of one’s surroundings whether they are natural, man-made or a combination of both. A big attraction of watercolour is it is so portable. It is much easier to pack up and move around than oil paints. It is an excellent way to record impressions or ideas, and when painted on the spot it is far more evocative than the images produced by a camera.
