The death of Job Warehouse reveals the rising trend of fast fashion, which leads to purchasing of excessive new clothing and frequent disposal.  However, cloth industry is the world’s second largest polluter, and its negative impact is increasing with the expansion of fast fashion.  The original job warehouse and the current nearby shops are local small business and subject to slow fashion.  They care about the environment, value the craftsmanship and the quality of the products, have tight connection with the customers and contribute to the local community identity.

Therefore, this thesis proposes a vertical extension of the Job Warehouse to facilitate the operation of local small fashion business to against fast fashion.  The aim is to provide workers a sound working and crafting environment, to offer customers a journey-oriented and immersive experience, to increase the attachment between the customers with the products by increase the transparency of the production process, and to stimulate the public exchange.
