Rhythm of a Street

Following Covid-19, our lifestyles have become increasingly on online. Tele-working has become more common, and many people are engaging with this potential. This change will likely become permanent. However, spatial and chronical separation of work and relaxation have become ambiguous and we are losing our work/life balance. Furthermore, important social connections that come from offices and schools are being weakened, contributing to mental and physical health problems. This is especially true for people who live alone in a small apartment, who are facing difficult situations. This thesis project proposes the extraction and relocation of ‘part of your life’ into a neighbourhood street as a technique for enjoying the benefit of teleworking, while maintaining work / life balance, and encouraging healthy social relationships in a neighbourhood.
