Bedroomnism

What would a domesticity look like that learns to support individual identity, that fosters biophilia, a domesticity that thrives more densely, richly and organically in a mid-ring suburb?

The main aim of this project is to create an engaging bedroom network between home and city, human occupation and nature, individuality and community; to foster a symbiotic balance of all forms of living, belongings and life-forms.

Through building a flexible tectonic system that invites active structural/social negotiation, Bedroomnism will adapt, expand, contract, and slowly evolve into a an interactive and self-constructed terrain that celebrates and fuses domestic, communal, ecological, and urban identities.

This fluid and customisable framework, from the bedroom outwards, from the ecosystem inwards; it begins with domestication and ends with co-existence. The most intrinsic parts of us are brought closer together, the uniqueness of each spirit is celebrated, each object and creature are invited to correlate into a dynamic symbiosis field/ a mega-bedroom.
