Re-brand a cultural institution

This brief involved rebranding the visual identity for a major cultural institution such as: Melbourne Museum, National Museum of China or Moderna Museet (Stockholm). Students researched the museum's function, its history and its current curatorial positioning in relation to its content and other similar institutions. Students considered the current branding decisions of the institution and implemented ways these decisions can be improved in visual communication and in establishing strong identity. This was realised in logo design, typeface choice, and application to a range of media such as tickets, posters, flyers, web design.
