I decided to stage the story in the 21st century. Therefore, the entire stage set will be decorated with modern-style props. For example, the setting of the brothel, the shop, and the jail applies the body-conforming chair, the wheeled clothes rack, and the operating bed. In the meantime, I keep some classic elements, such as the classical European-style sofa, to make the stage more diversified. Besides, the folding screen as a flexible space element, decorative element, and design element has the functions of both practical and artistic appreciation and can be integrated into a rich and diversified space environment through its own shape, color, texture, pattern, and other characteristics. In addition, as a result of the unique idiosyncrasies of the screen, it also can divide space accordingly and concentrate the audience's attention on the performance. It blocks the view of the upcoming backstage props, making the audience more immersed in the performance.
