This parcel of land is significant in its intensification of land recognised as areas of cultural heritage sensitivity. It is a unique area that is hugged by the river, providing value in it’s vision as a parkland. Contrary to this, it is majority crown land and currently serves next to no cultural or community benifit, or rather benifits small portions of the community in a fragmented way.

This project proposes a gradual transition away from golf course to a place that is accessible to the broader community, creates a place of culture while improving biodiversity connectivity, pedestrian connectivity and climate change resilience.  The end result is native title/land right status for a number of parcels of land that are currently crown land to start to bring the experience and ownership of places of country to cities.
