What is it like today?

The design is a microclimate resting place for China Town driven by a pattern logic obtained through the study of masks. Since the logical significance of the mask is to block objects, a resting place with a microclimate that can block cold wind could be constructed to work with the environmental conditions of the site. The main structure comes from a three-dimensional transformation of the pattern, This structure forms an automatic device for blocking the northwest wind and acts as a foundational frame on the ground. The automatic device will be blown open by the northwest wind and block the northwest wind, thus keeping the site warm. Since the base frame is a stable pyramid structure, it has many possibilities to provide different places for activities such as sitting and talking, swings, climbing ropes. And these small, usable activity frames can be moved by people to match and combine to cater for different numbers of group activities. In addition, the large structural frames are fixed, and they are used as light sources and fixed points to control the overall route of the site. The pattern iron frame on the wall offers support for climbing plants. The lush plants on the wall can further reduce the temperature of the site and the evaporation rate in summer.
