Currently suffering from lack of appropriate seating and harsh weather, the footbridge is underutilized and not taking advantage of its full potential. Utilizing the connection created between the Marvel stadium, Southern cross Station and the city, the redesigned footbridge will include flexible seating, reactivation spaces and a living green roof, all without compromising traffic flow and efficiency. The revitalised Southern Cross footbridge will create a vibrant urban space for commuters to enjoy, in a flexible and relaxed atmosphere.
