Explore the MSDx galleries for a glimpse of future innovations in the built environment.

MSDx Summer is on!

Discover what’s happening at the Melbourne School of Design, as it transforms into a multi-floor gallery showcasing hundreds of pieces of studio work by our talented students in one of Australia's largest design exhibitions.

MSDx illustrates the quality and diversity of output at the Melbourne School of Design, ranging from highly speculative propositions reimagining the future of cities, infrastructures and materials, to more practice-oriented efforts conveying a love of craft or a care for place. You’ll be able see, touch and discuss work at all scales, from the detail of doorhandles or conversations at bus-stops, zooming out to the planning of bioregions, our relationships with Country, and the histories and futures of the Global South.
