Industry forum: Turning research into real-world impact

The University of Melbourne is hosting Innovation in the Built Environment, an industry collaboration with partners and researchers.

This forum will bring together leading industry partners and researchers to explore how collaboration is driving innovation and impact across the built environment. Discussions will span key themes including healthy buildings, sustainability, and emerging ventures, showcasing how research and industry expertise can come together to deliver real-world outcomes.

We are delighted to be joined by organisations including:
International WELL Building Institute, JLL, Arup, Built, Forest & Wood Products Australia, GXN, AIRAH, Plasma Shield, Urban Analytica, Sana Design + Build, Fieldwork, among others.

The program will feature a keynote from Jack Noonan, the International WELL Building Institute, alongside curated sessions designed to:

  • Highlight industry-led innovation and applied research
  • Explore pathways to commercialisation and implementation
