F_Lab Bespoke Timber Furnitures

In F_Lab physical experimentation and risk-taking are encouraged. Students begin by exploring a wide range of making techniques, developing skills in hand-tool usage and modern woodworking equipment. Informed consideration of materiality and ergonomics, combined with a process of experimentation and making, enable students to design and fabricate a bespoke furniture piece of novel aesthetic and material qualities. Demonstrating exemplary craft, the final pieces are prototypes of timber furniture’s for one person to rest on.
