Florence Green Information Centre
The empty Super Cinema building is converted into an exhibition, educational and showcase space for the Florentine ‘Greenaissance’.
The multifunctional spaces create an environment where Florentines and tourists can come to see how Florence’s industry, urban agriculture, water and energy sectors are transforming Florence into a sustainable and resilient laboratory, developing and demonstrating new technologies, strategies and community networks that are addressing the demands of climate change and resource scarcity. This facility communicates how Florence is tackling these problems with all of the constraints of being listed as a world heritage site.
