BEL+T are pleased to offer a short interactive workshop for ABP staff, introducing Diversity and Inclusion in Teaching in Learning and Universal Design for Learning.

Building on the resources for Inclusive Teaching available on the BEL+T website, A/Prof Derlie Mateo-Babiano, ABP Assistant Dean Diversity and Inclusion, will explore a number of scenarios around inclusion, asking how teaching staff might best respond to the needs of students.

And Ashley Anderson, Learning Environments Senior Learning Designer, will introduce Universal Design for Learning as a strategy to develop teaching material that's ready for all students to engage with—and that any student can get the most from—without needing additional interventions or adjustments.

This session will run from 2:00-3:00PM on Tuesday 30 April in MSD Room 146, and online via Zoom.

If you’d like to join us, please register via Eventbrite.

This session is available to all ABP staff.  Casual teaching staff who register for and attend this one-hour session and who complete a one-hour follow-up activity will be paid for this professional development at the same rate as for induction sessions.
