TLI's September and October Pedagogy-focused Workshops

The University's Teaching and Learning Innovation team offer workshops year-round. In the coming weeks, these include a number of pedagogy-focused sessions:
Exploring ePortfolios and Reflection Activities, a session for subject and course coordinators interested in ePortfolio use-cases and implementation, running 10:00 - 11:30 am Tuesday 16 September.
Crafting Interactive Lectures, discussing activities, strategies, and educational technology that can help to actively engage diverse student cohorts in lectures, running 2:00 - 3:30 pm Tuesday 16 September.
Introducing Universal Design for Learning, a session covering the basics of UDL and of how it can be used to include, engage, and motivate every student in your cohort, running 2:00 - 3:30 pm Thursday 18 September.
Designing Authentic Assessments, exploring the design--and the benefits--of assessment that closely resembles tasks graduates will encounter in professional practice, running 2:00 - 3:30 pm Wednesday 24 September.
Designing Assessment for Large Cohorts, a session engaging with the key assessment challenges facing large subjects and identifying useful strategies, running 10:00 - 11:30 am Wednesday 8 October.
