A Template to Help Prepare Your Subject Outlines
![]()
Alongside ongoing changes around securing assessment, updating academic misconduct frameworks, improving extension administration, etc. the University and Faculty have been updating what subject information should be published to students, when, and where.
Together with the Handbook, the Subject Outline is a key source of truth for this information.
Building on work by the Faculty's Academic Programs and Teaching Support team, BEL+T have reformatted and expanded the ABP Subject Outline Template to capture additional sections, guidance, and examples, and to address the recommendations and requirements captured in the following:
- ABP Learning Management System Policy (A-26)
- ABP Board of Examiners Policy (F-12)
- UoM Privacy Policy (MPF1104)
- UoM Student Complaints Policy (MPF1066)
- UoM Student Academic Integrity Policy (MPF1310)
- UoM Student Conduct Policy (MPF1324)
- UoM Student Loans, Fees and Charges Policy (MPF1325)
- UoM Assessment and Results Policy (MPF1326)
- UoM Courses, Subjects, Awards and Programs Policy (MPF1327)
- Academic Board Course Approval and Management Procedures Assessment Guidelines
- UoM Guidance on AI in Teaching and Learning
