Melbourne City at Night
Urban life continues after dark. Cities are acknolwedged as essential for sustainable and equitable global development. Yet night-time, when half of urban activities occur, is often overlooked. This virtual site visit explores the Melbourne CBD at night, addressing key night-time challenges through the lens of night-shift workers.
-
The Alan Gilbert Plantroom
This virtual site visit introduces students to the processes that occur in a mechanical plant room, helps them understand the scale and complexity of HVAC equipment, and shows how all the various elements fit together.

BEL+T Research
BEL+T undertakes and promotes good research on virtual site visits in built environments learning. We explore the various affordances of virtual site visits and how they can be situated within the larger context of site-based learning. Our research focuses on enhancing the educational impact of virtual site visits, ensuring they effectively complement traditional site experiences.
