Southern Side

Being the only façade which does not need sun shading, the southern side of the building has windows that vary in shape, placement and arrangement.

To begin installation of the windows, brackets were fitted, which then enabled the installation of the black window mullions. The angle of the mullions varies to provide what appears to be a curved shape.

Double-glazed units were then fitted between the mullions. Each panel of glass weighs approximately 300 kilograms – they needed to be picked up with suction lifters and a crane.
