EMOTIONAL HALLS : domestic photography archive of Paris past

Photography does matter!! Before the era of photography, everyday emotions and memories only existed for that precise moment and faded as time elapsed. Photography, even in our high-speed camera-phone era provides a lasting memory of events and emotions. Domestic photography captures our family memories in a particularly special way.

The project is a cultural center related to historic photography of domestic life in Paris in the 1950s. The building aims to develop architectural spaces which will ‘bring-to-life’ the photos of the past. Photographs and spatial atmospheres are organized in a precise sequence of "JOY" "SORROW," "ANGER," and "HOPE.”
