This project takes on a case in 2040 where the Queen Victoria Market (QVM) would be redeveloped into a site that provides the opportunity to reconnect. The QVM will be a place for people to be able to reconnect with the natural environment and the community through the walking experience of passing through a reformed nature space to a rewild nature space.

In response from the findings of my research, I proposed on transforming the Market Cross into a reformed natural environment for community engagement. As well as, transforming the carpark area to a rewild nature space to remind visitors about the past environment and those who passed. Furthermore, a continuous difference of the floor material helps to guide people to go through the complete walking experience [reformed natural environment - rewild natural environment - mixture of both (Flagstaff Garden).
