A conversation with Marina Tabassum to reflect on the role of the Aga Khan Awards for Architecture in showcasing the works of women architects from the Global South, and more broadly, the awarding of projects which showcase women experiences and agencies in the shaping of built environments in some of the most challenging and resource constraint contexts.

Speakers:
Justine Clark (Parlour), Amanda Achmadi (The University of Melbourne) and Maryam Gusheh (Monash University) will be joining Marina Tabassum in this conversation.

Marina Tabassum will present MSD Dean’s Lecture on Tuesday 8 September, 6:45 - 07:45PM, followed by an opening of Architecture for Empowerment: Lessons from Diverse Geography, a design exhibition showcasing the winning projects from the 2023-2025 cycle of the Aga Khan Award for Architecture.
