Angela Dapper

Biography

Angela is a principal at Grimshaw in London, which she joined in early 2019. Prior to this, she was a partner at Denton Corker Marshall Architects in London. Angela is also involved with The Bartlett, London Metropolitan and Cardiff universities. She is a contributor to the Mayor of London’s ‘Supporting Diversity Handbook’; an Ambassador for the Architect’s Benevolent Society; a non-executive Director for Studio BAD; a WAN awards jury member and a curator for the 2020 London Festival of Architecture. Angela speaks at numerous industry events about diversity and inclusion; health and wellbeing in architecture and construction; and hotel and office design and innovation.

Angela has worked in a variety of sectors, recently completing 20 Farringdon Street Office, One Leicester Square Hotel; and the reopening of the Mandarin Oriental Hotel, Hyde Park. She also enjoys collaborations with other architects, most recently with Snøhetta for the Aesop London flagship store. Notably, Angela led the new Stonehenge Visitor Centre, taking the project from design concept to completion. Following the success of this project, she was shortlisted for the Architect’s Journal Emerging Woman Architect of the Year.
