Embracing diversity and inclusion

One of the primary purposes of the BE–150 program is to acknowledge and promote the importance of diversity and inclusion in built environment education. The program incorporates a diverse range of activities specifically aimed at profiling the rich and distinct mix of within our community of practice.

A key strategic focus of the Faculty of Faculty of Architecture, Building and Planning is ensuring that diversity and inclusion are at the core of all of our activities. This year's program aims to highlight achievements and celebrate the impact of less celebrated groups, including indigenous voices, international students, women as well as regional and rural voices.

While the BE—150 program provides an opportunity to focus on the excellence and achievement of the staff, students and practitioners who have gone before us – it is also a chance to have serious and meaning discussions about the importance of embracing a strong diversity and inclusion agenda.
