After the easing of lockdown restrictions, from Friday 11th June there is increased access to the MSD Maker Spaces.
Some students are now permitted to return to campus - subject coordinators will let you know if you fall into that category. If you have permission to return to campus you can now collect bureau jobs from the Fab Lab and NExT lab. Students who do not have permission to return to campus cannot collect fabrication jobs. This work will have to be shipped to you, or collected after restrictions ease further to allow all students back to campus.
Students in classes which require access to the Workshop are now also permitted to return to the workshop. Once again, subject coordinators will contact these students. The Workshop remains closed to all other students.
The Robotics Lab, Print Room and Loans Desk remain closed.

Training & Access
The Maker Spaces are advanced fabrication and making spaces that require students and staff to undergo training before they can access the services and facilities. Safe usage of the facilities is a top priority, and most of the services available require at least some specialised knowledge.
Follow the link below to complete inductions and training required to get access to the Maker Spaces.
The Maker Spaces knowledge base is the new home to all fabrication guides and video tutorials.
