Opportunities in your faculty
Your curriculum is at the heart of your employability
Your course provides a foundation for developing your employability. Every subject, assessment, placement, and activity helps you apply theory to practice, build confidence, and demonstrate your capabilities to future employers.
As a student in the Faculty of Architecture, Building and Planning, you’ll develop communication and critical thinking through your studies, empowering you to navigate diverse career pathways with confidence. Alongside your degree, you can tap into a rich ecosystem of complementary services, activities and opportunities across the University, enabling you to broaden your experience, expand your networks and realise your full potential.
Your employability journey starts now
You can start strengthening your employability from day one. From early connections in mentoring programs and student clubs to final-year placements and projects, every experience and skill you build becomes part of your growing professional portfolio.

2. Connections and community
Learning is relationship-rich. Through lecturers, peers, industry partners, alumni, clubs, and societies, you build networks that deepen learning, broaden perspectives, and create
