MSD Peer Mentoring Program
Date: During the week of February 22-26 your Mentor will contact you via email to arrange a time for you and the other mentees in your group to meet online via Zoom.
Description The MSD Peer Mentoring Program is an opportunity for new students to get in touch with later-year students. You can ask them questions, gain insights and share your experiences of navigating through the first few weeks of uni. You will be put in touch with a Peer Mentor who will contact you and the other mentees in your group via email prior to Orientation week with details about your first meeting.
The program begins with a virtual Amazing Race activity where all Peer Mentors will meet with their Mentees via Zoom and help you get to know important information about University life as well as the other members of your group.
*Please ensure that you install Zoom on your computer if you haven't already: https://unimelb.zoom.us/download
Throughout the semester, your Peer Mentor will be in touch with you to have virtual coffee catch-ups via Zoom. Please note that we are unable to match up Peer Mentors and Mentees based on their degree or discipline.
So that we can match you to a Peer Mentor, you will need to REGISTER for the program.
