KHA is offering a limited number of six-month placements for final year Master of Architecture students. This program runs from November 2025 to April 2026 with some flexibility in the timing. This internship is based in Singapore.
About us
Founded by Kerry Hill, the practice offers a full range of Architectural services from master-planning to project delivery and carries out Interior Design services including highly crafted furniture, fabrics, and accessories, for its architectural projects. The firm has a strong commitment to regionalism in architectural solutions, resulting in buildings and strategies that demonstrate a strong relationship to the physical and cultural context of a project site and environment.
The opportunity
- Become embedded in a project team, gaining direct experience in design and delivery.
- Sharpen your design thinking skills in response to project brief and site constraints.
- Develop technical skills in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Enscape, and the Adobe Suite.
- Paid internship, with return economy fights from Australia to Singapore.
Eligibility for a working visa in Singapore
- Applicants must be a temporary or permanent resident of Australia aged 18 to 25 at the time of application.
- You must be a current full-time Master of Architecture eligible to enrol in ABPL90307 MSD Vocational Placement subject in the Summer Term 2026 teaching period

Over the past 6 months at KHA I have been able to work on very exciting projects mostly focused around the luxury hospitality sector. These projects have been spread out internationally allowing me to explore various culturally and contextually appropriate architectural styles. KHA works with a meticulous design development process resulting in exceptionally detailed schemes. On most projects, they complete the combined architecture and full interior fit out.
Observing this constant collaboration between both disciplines has been very insightful, seeing the interdependency of both, resulting in a unique level of high-quality design that seeks to prioritise user experience.
My tasks at work have been on Autocad, Sketchup, Enscape and the Adobe suite. The team was extremely helpful in making sure I was constantly involved and immersed in project work. As time went on, I gained more responsibility in my work and had the opportunity to assist my colleagues in important presentations, as well as communicating with operators and consultants. I have thoroughly enjoyed working at KHA during my university placement and would highly recommend an internship experience with them.
